I am uploading Sales Invoices using the Standard template provided with udi-Magic. Though I have specified the HSN code and Tax-rates, it is NOT updated in the ITEM Master for existing StockItems.
Answer
You must use the Master-StockItemMaster.xls to update / set the HSN code; Tax-rates for any existing StockItems in Tally.
PS:
The Sales Invoices template creates new StockItems (if not found in Tally), but it does NOT update ITEMs that already exist in Tally.
