I am getting message "GSTIN/UIN is not specified/invalid" in the GSTR reports
Preface
The aforesaid message may appear in :
GSTR-1 (Sales / Outward Supply) and/or;
GSTR-2 (Purchase / Inward Supply) and/or;
GSTR-3 (Returns Summary).
Solution
Check and correct the GSTIN in the Party Ledger Master.
Example:
Party Name : ABC
State : Gujarat
GSTIN : 27ABGRD2239C1ZE
In the above example, the GSTIN is incorrect as the State code for Gujarat is 24 and hence GSTIN must start with 24.
