How to upload Sales, Purchase data with VAT ? Print

To upload Sales or Purchase data with VAT, you must use the V7 (i.e. version 7) templates.

Steps

1. Download the Standard templates (all versions) from this link:

https://github.com/ShwetaSoftwares/standard-templates/archive/master.zip

2. Unzip the zip file

3. Locate the folder "standard-templates-earlier-versions\v70"

4. The following Sales and Purchase files are available within v70 folder :

Vouchers-V7-Sales-Purchase-Advanced.xls

Vouchers-V7-Sales-Purchase-basic.xls

Vouchers-V7-Sales-Horizontal-format-with-VAT-without-stockitems.xls

Vouchers-V7-Purchase-Horizontal-format-with-VAT-without-stockitems.xls

5. To use a template of older version, you must select the both the XLS and XML file in udi-Magic wizard (in the same screen where you are prompted to select Excel file)

Remarks:

To select the XML file, you must tick / check the option "Use separate file for XML tags"
