While uploading data into Tally, the Item Quantity (Qty) and Item Rate are not imported for some items.
Ans:
This happens if the Unit of Measurement (UOM) is not set / defined in the StockItem Master i.e. the qty and rate will not appear in Sale or Purchase vouchers if UOM is not set for stockitem.
You must set / define the UOM for the said StockItem and then re-import the data.
Note :
Tally does not allow you to modify the UOM for a StockItem, if vouchers exist for that Stockitem. Please consult your local Tally vendor or Tally Solutions, Bangalore on how to set / define the UOM for Stockitem.
